| REPLACING
THE BACKLIGHT IN
THE E36 OBC To replace the back light bulbs for your OBC, you must remove the unit from the dash. To do so, reach into the coin tray below the OBC, you will find a hole in the top of it. Insert a finger into this hole and you will feel the back of the OBC, push it forward. You may also need to use a small screwdriver to gently pry the front at the same time. If you have the full OBC, you will see 4 bulbs along the top edge of the unit, if you have a clock there will only be one or two, depending on the style. Replace any that are bad, and install the unit by pressing it into the dash. Probably the easiest OBC to remove, of all the BMW range.
